CommandF is the hosted search engine API developed by Vanly, Co. CommandF provides an upgraded and unique application programming interface (“API”), a ready-to-go solution for developers who want a fast and relevant search experience for their end-users (the “Solution” or “CommandF”).
CommandF aims at being your search back-end if you want to build a great search experience for your end-users.
CommandF is developed by Vanly, Co., a company incorporated in 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, Delaware, United States (the “Company” or “CommandF”).
CommandF is accessible as a Software as a Service (“SaaS”). By using CommandF and its website (the “Website”) you agree to comply with the following general terms and conditions of use and sale (the “T&Cs”) which form a binding contract between you and Vanly, Co.
1. Prerequisites
You certify that you hold all the rights and authority necessary to agree to the T&Cs in the name of the legal person you represent, if applicable.
2. Description of CommandF
CommandF provides a fast search engine API. It allows providing a search as you type experience for users.

Developers upload their own datasets (the “Content”) by connecting their data source. Users can search through the Content. Content remains under all circumstances the full and exclusive property of developers.
3. Set up and installation
To install CommandF on your website, you need to create an account on the Website and follow the instructions.
4. License
Vanly, Co. grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable and personal right to use CommandF, subject to the T&Cs. All intellectual property rights remain property of Vanly, Co. In particular, you are not allowed to:
- Copy, modify or create derivative works of CommandF
- Reverse engineer, disassemble or decompile CommandF
- Transfer, sublicense, lease, lend, rent or otherwise distribute CommandF to any third party
- Use CommandF for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by the T&Cs
- Use CommandF for competitive analysis or competing products
Pricing
The use of CommandF is subject to the payment of a subscription fee, as detailed on the Website.
Pricing is available on demand in US dollars excluding taxes. Prices may change upon notice by email.
Payment
Payment is monthly through Stripe. You guarantee authority to use payment methods and will ensure automatic payments. Late or failed payments may result in:
- Temporary suspension of your account
- Termination of the contract
- Late fees and interest charges
7. Compliant Use
You must comply with laws and not infringe rights of third parties. You are solely responsible for taxes, fees, and regulatory requirements related to using CommandF.
Prohibited actions include:
- Behaviors that interrupt service
- Unauthorized access attempts
- Infringing financial, commercial, or moral rights
- Making financial gain by reselling access
8. Content
You are solely responsible for any content uploaded. You represent having all rights to publish the content.
You must not publish illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate content.
9. Accessibility
CommandF is provided on commercially reasonable efforts basis. Availability may be impacted by maintenance, technical issues, third party services, or other reasonable causes.
Vanly, Co will not provide maintenance services in unauthorized, improper, or negligent use cases.
10. Violations
Vanly, Co. reserves rights to suspend access or terminate use for violations of these terms, laws and regulations.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is collected and processed according to law and our Privacy Policy. See Privacy Policy for details on data rights.
12. Third Parties
Vanly, Co. has no responsibility for availability or content of third party websites accessed through CommandF.
13. Duration
CommandF subscriptions renew monthly unless canceled in writing. No reimbursements are provided.
14. Representations
CommandF is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Vanly makes no commitments about service levels or meeting any particular expectations.
15. Liability
Vanly, Co. accepts no liability for indirect, consequential or other damages not directly caused by Vanlyʼs breach of these terms. Total liability is limited to fees paid over the last 12 months.
16. Complaints
Contact CommandF with any complaints within 30 days of occurrence. Best efforts will be made to address complaints promptly.
17. Changes
Vanly, Co. may update these terms with 15 days notice. Changes required by law or regulation may apply immediately. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
18. Language
The authoritative language is English.
19. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.
20. Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.
21. Effective Date
These terms are effective as of February 24, 2024.
